Making Money Blogging

If you want to learn how to make money with a blog, you can do it.  You control your own destiny in blogging.  That is one of the reasons that I really like blogging and have it as a major piece in my online business.  I will share with you some of my top tips on how you can really make sure you “make it” with your blogging.  Here are my tips:

1.  Do you have a “why”? — Making money from blogging requires a lot of effort, especially at the beginning.  You will do much better and knock this work out much faster if you have a strong “why”.  What I mean here is why you are working so hard to get a blog up.  Why do you want to do this?  What is your driving force for success?  The answer to these questions is critical to your success in  blogging.  You need a strong why. Most people want to earn money blogging.

2.  Are you committed to a schedule? —  If you are trying to “piecemeal” a blog together with an hour here and an hour there, please stop this approach.  It is not going to work for you.  You need a weekly schedule with solid hours for your blogging.  If you are not committed to this level, you are actually not committed at all.  You need to get yourself a work schedule going today.

3.  Will you master content generation? —  If you are going to make money blogging, you are going to have to master content generation.  You can not just be “so-so” in your content generation.  You need to master how to write great posts and high quality back linking articles that will help you in the search engines.  If you are not a master of content generation, you will fail in this area.  I have seen it happen too many times.

4. Don’t start with a ‘How To Make Money Blog’. Lots of rookies, or noobs as they’re often called, read all about a blog making money – so that’s what they write about. Even before they actually know how to make money by blogging. They have no blogging strategy beyond regurgitating what they have just learned. This is not unique and won’t do much good.

If you are truly committed to making sure your blog succeeds, you need to take the action to back this up.  You need to develop a strong plan and make it happen.  You control your own destiny in blogging, so you have to make the commitment and just “go for it”.  You will be happy that you did.
